Lead Speech Language Pathologist

Sarah Cates, M.S. CCC-SLP is a licensed speech-language pathologist who is passionate about helping children find their voice. She received her bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders and Early Childhood Studies from California Baptist University in Riverside, CA and master’s degree from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX.  With over 15 years of experience working and volunteering with the early intervention population, her passion is to help little ones communicate and partner with parents to bridge parent-child relationships.  She has experience treating disorders in receptive and expressive language, articulation, voice, cognition, and feeding. Being a native to San Diego, in her free time she enjoys watching the Padres at Petco Park, local hiking, relaxing at the beach, and quality time spent with friends and family.
